This Friday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m., the Winter School District will host its annual Veteran’s Day program.  Veteran’s Day is important to pause and think about the service and sacrifices our service men and women have made for our country.  Elementary students have completed projects to show their thankfulness, and many of our students participated in the program.

This year, my speech focuses on what we can do as individuals to show our gratitude to veterans: flying the flag, asking to hear veteran’s stories, and saying thank you.  For all those veterans who are not able to attend the program, thank you for your service!
