Winter School District- Adam Bednorski

Student of the Month

November 2024

Adam Bednorski

Class of 2025

Adam Bednorski, the son of Tim Gass and Donna Helsing, has been selected as Winter High School's Student of the Month for November 2024!

Adam, a senior graduating in May 2025, has excelled academically, maintaining high grades while taking challenging courses and participating in sports. Last year, Adam's three-point shooting ability helped lead the Winter Warriors to one of their best basketball seasons in years. Additionally, he has narrowly missed qualifying for State in golf the past two years and hopes to make it this year as an individual. After graduation, Adam plans to attend a UW school and major in business.

Adam is a standout student who consistently advocates for himself and demonstrates strong moral integrity. Mr. Suralski, Winter High School's Social Studies teacher and golf coach, shares, “I've had the pleasure of being both Adam's teacher and golf coach for four years, and he lives out the Warrior values of honor, pride, and respect every day. In the classroom, Adam takes pride in his work and consistently produces quality assignments because he values learning. As his golf coach, I’ve watched him grow from a total beginner as a freshman to Conference Player of the Year as a junior. It’s a testament to his dedication and growth, but more importantly, Adam plays with integrity. Last season, he faced a competitor willing to cheat to win, yet Adam prevailed, showing that honesty matters. His surprise at witnessing such dishonesty reflects his strong character, and I couldn’t think of a more deserving Student of the Month.”

Mrs. Lueloff, Winter School District’s Business Education teacher, adds, “Adam is a dedicated student who gives his best to academics, basketball, and golf. He constantly makes me laugh, and I’m proud of his excellent money-management skills!” Ms. Corbett, Winter School District's Guidance Counselor, also praises Adam, saying, “Adam has been organized and goal-oriented in his post-graduation planning. Recently, he volunteered to mentor middle school boys, setting a great example of respect and leadership.”

Congratulations to Adam for earning Student of the Month for November 2024!
